But in this edition, newer poets includes Changming Yuan, Nathaniel S. Rounds,
Afzal Moolla from South Africa, and Carly Gove of New Jersey.
Miss Carly's poetry is very mature for a writer who is in her teens. She writes eloquently about teen angst, her love for books and libraries and in her poem "Brilliant Blue Sky", she paints a vivid picture using metaphors to talk about hope.
In addition to Miss Carly's talent, MEL BRAKE PRESS was impressed with Miss Carly because is the second teenager to have worked published by the press. The first teen was Terrance Jones whose first chapbook, "TERRANCE JONES AT 15", was published in 2010. Mr Jones has a book that is now available for purchase on Amazon.com.
MEL BRAKE PRESS would like to congratulate all the poets who were published in
the edition ,and welcome other gifted young poets like Terrance Jones and Carly Gove to give writing poetry a chance. Maybe one day, they too can be a published author.
