National General Agency Agreement Between LongView Agency and Protective Insurance Company.

Aug. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Roundstone Management’s LongView Agency and Protective Insurance Company are pleased to announce a new joint underwriting agreement.  LongView will represent Protective as general agent for commercial auto insurance to the livery industry on a national basis.  The collaboration will afford the strength and stability of Protective, rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best, and the industry expertise and service orientation of the LongView Agency.  

The LongView Agency is a public transportation program that specializes in commercial auto insurance for taxicabs, non-emergency medical transportation vehicles and limousines / black cars with coverage offerings for auto liability, general liability, and physical damage.  LongView plans to expand its footprint nationally in coming weeks and months.  LongView is presently working in OH, PA, CA, , IL, INMN,, WA, and WI with the intention to expand into other states.

Protective Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. , is licensed in all 50 states and all Canadian provinces and provides coverage for large trucking fleets and medium-sized trucking companies. Protective also offers a public transportation insurance program that provides comprehensive coverage for charter and tour bus companies, school bus contractors and limousine services. Reinsurance and retrocession risks from insurance and reinsurance companies, principally to reinsure against catastrophic events, are also underwritten by Protective.
