OVERVIEW
3D Printed Symphony Shells are Simply Amplified’s first one-of-a-kind iPhone sound amplifiers – the beginning of many exciting and innovative developments – to emerge from 3D ThinkTank. Created by using the limitless capabilities of 3D printing (additive
manufacturing),  Simply Amplified amplifiers are unhindered by traditional manufacturing and are functional creations unlike anything on the market. With the recent rapid growth in this technology at the consumer level, Simply Amplified amplifiers combine advanced engineering techniques in architecture, artistry, and acoustics for the ultimate custom product.

Symphony Shells emerged as the result of unbound creativity. What started out as a fun design competition to create the best acoustic amplifier for the iPhone resulted in a product with potential just waiting to be unleashed. Inspired by marine life, the
NAUTILUS was the first created and was an instant hit, making it  an  obvious design concept to pursue and develop. Thus, Simply Amplified and the first line of amplifiers –  Symphony Shells – were born.

A PROVEN CONCEPT
Phi, or the Golden Ratio, is a mathematical pattern that is not new to the design world. But by combining this ratio with art and functionality, Symphony Shells gain their ability to amplify and enhance your music in a way that’s, well, symphonic. Turning sketches and concepts into CAD, the Golden Ratio defines the  acoustic channels that amplify music from your iPhone  speakers. The result is aesthetically pleasing, notably  functional, and simple to use acoustic iPhone amplifiers.

Free from cables or batteries, Symphony Shells don’t exhibit  the limitations of other amplifiers and  being as much art as they are amp, they can be placed in many different areas while maintaining their artistic appeal. Simply set your iPhone into the amplifier and you are ready to enjoy your music – just as if  you are in the front row at the symphony.

SYMPHONY SHELLS
Symphony Shells  are the first product line of amplifiers designed by Simply Amplified. They  are currently only available at  Kickstarter.com and come in three acoustically-engineered designs: The URCHIN, The MUREX, and The NAUTILUS. Each  nautical shell is custom-made to each person’s own design tastes.
