Ka Band Satellite Internet Services in Africa - Cheap Rates like DSL / ADSL - With Free Hardware

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 6, 2012 - Ka band is the latest technology in satellite broadband industry whereby satellite broadband can be provided at  DSL/ADSL speeds and even higher with  costs being as low as wired internet.!

Ka band is much powerful than any existing ku and/or c band with way higher throughput and smaller sized dish. Ka band terminals will only a dish size from 74 cms to max 98 cms! making it so easy to manage logistically and to install them as well. The Modems used are all from Hughes HNS 9260 / 9460.

Also the lower latencies means that services like VPN and/or VoIP will benefit a lot.

Wafa has launched these services now all over Africa covering : Nigeria, Angola, South Africa, Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

All these countries are covered via combination of 3 different ka band satellites : Ka Sat-9, Yahsat and Hylas 2.
