“In troublesome times the strange world of fantasy and fiction takes our minds on a journey of pure escapism,” says Howard. “At times we all need to abscond from our perception of realism.”
As a young boy, Howard was captivated by the 50’s era of science fiction and fantasy. Battle of the Archangels, the newest release and book five of his incredible action series, continues the adventures of space agent Jim Long - a character, complete with matchstick figures and storylines, conjured up in Howard’s 13-year-old mind.
Battle of the Archangels takes readers on a unique science fiction experience that is seamlessly interwoven with fantasy, the author’s own supernatural experiences and a touch of the paranormal to create a trip through time they won’t soon forget.
Agent Jim Long is ordered to explore a slowly fermenting and escalating disorderly chaos amongst planets with peaceful advanced civilizations. As an astral traveler, he now has to explore in-depth to find the reasons behind the strange behavior. With his crew, he travels in unbelievable landscapes conjured and formed into realities that are held together by thought and higher essences of spiritual forces. It is a realm of great beauty and love where spiritual entities live, some in a mirror body of the physical, others in streams of light and shade.
Battle of the Archangels also goes deep into dark areas of malevolent thought and emotion. Jim has an incredible visit to the Akashic library where the past, present and future blend together in amazing perception. He explores the relationship between God and man and the differences between the Archangels with some in disagreement as to their purpose. He follows a mischievous trail of disruption trying to come to terms with the uncharted domains of ethereal and metaphysical worlds and the surprising final outcome.
Other books available in the series are Ancient Ones of Light (Book One), The White Hole (Book Two), Soulgate-Temple of Souls (Book Three) and Divine Fanaticism (Book Four).
For readers of all ages, Battle of the Archangels goes beyond an amazing science fiction tale to explore the meaning of existence between God, humankind and Archangels to prove there is more to life than we will ever know in this lifetime.
Robin G. Howard has lived an eclectic life working as an electrician, draughtsman and sign writer before serving in the Royal Air Force and going onto become a firefighter. After several successful on-stage writing productions, he decided to begin writing in earnest and began writing about a character created in his boyhood period and the Jim Long Space Agent series was born. He made a decision to write five novels in that series and stuck to that task for ten years by releasing book five, Battle of the Archangels. He currently resides in the U.K.
