Yahsat 2 - KA Band
Ka band is much powerful than any existing ku and/or c band with way higher throughput and smaller sized dish. Ka band terminals will only a dish size from 74 cms to max 98 cms! making it so easy to manage logistically and to install them as well. The Modems used are all from Hughes HNS 9260 / 9460.
Also the lower latencies means that services like VPN and/or VoIP will benefit a lot.
Wafa has launched these services now all over Sudan specifically with a lot of demand for satellite broadband from Juba - South Sudan .
