Aug. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Curiosity is sometimes a bad thing but the largest and most expensive mobile laboratory platform to ever be sent to another planet is called Curiosity and is the greatest feat of design engineering ever to be sent to another planet.
Curiosity, against all odds landed safe and sound on the surface of Mars at 6:30am today. After entering the Mars atmosphere it deployed a parachute to slow down then rockets guided the platform down before lowering the rover by nylon ropes to gently touch down on the surface.
