Sledge Grits Band Song Release & Fundraising Red Carpet Event

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 5, 2012 - WHAT: The Sledge Grits Band will be hosting a memorable red carpet celebration of their new single "Come too Far". The song, dedicated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, will be performed publicly for the first time at The Joint on Sunday, August 19th, 2012 during this official release party and fundraising event. All net proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It will be the only time the song will be performed live prior to their concert at the Kennedy Center in September as the opening act for Kelly Clarkson & Garth Brooks.

WHO: The Sledge Grits Band is an incredibly talented group of four sisters: Keiko-17, lead guitar/song writer; Kariel-15 on bass; Mimi-12 vocalist and bo-Pah-9 on drums. Join them, along with a host of invited celebrities, music industry professionals, friends, fans and supporters of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for an evening of celebration, entertainment and awareness in support of helping this great nonprofit continue its dedicated fight against breast cancer. Special thanks goes out to THE JOINT LA for the passionate support of the girls and their efforts.
