PRLog - Aug. 7, 2012 - TORONTO -- Origo Books Gallery is proud to showcase an imaginative and inspiring selection of paintings by visual artists JULITA WOLANSKA and PETER OWEN GOODALE.
Painting comes as a form of meditation to JULITA WOLANSKA; her vision grows clear, the colours pure, and the imagery develops intuitively from the peace of her quieten mind. Poetic bubbles, aquatic balloons, and fluid life forms manifest in the canvas typifying Progress, Transformation and the relationship between Elements in a lyrical and spontaneous representation of the drama of Life. JULITA's work intuitively embodies the magic of Life's ebb and flow in all its evermoving and evoking luster.
Is it possible for the colours of the Soul to be seen in paint applied to canvas? PETER GOODALE's art sparks these sensations and emotions in the viewer by combining a rich colour palette with the natural fluid movements of acrylic pours. His paintings capture the power, beauty and freedom of nature, mystically inspired by the reflections of light in water, the shimmer of the surface and the myriads of colours activated by the sun rays.
JULITA WOLANSKA graduated with a M.A. degree from the University of Warsaw, Poland, and continued her studies at the George Brown College, and the Toronto and Halliburton schools of art. Her art has been seen in solo shows in Warsaw, Vienna and Toronto, as well as in more than 40 collective shows in Toronto and New York. JULITA's paintings are exhibited frequently at The Distillery District, downtown Toronto, and multiple auctions and fundraisers for charitable causes.
