“I am proud to be a part of such an influential program,” said Jaclyn Stapp, spokeswoman for NVEEE, “As someone who grew up being bullied, I want to continue to express words of encouragement to others and send the message that bullying will no longer be tolerated. With the help of NVEEE, its volunteers, mentors and teens, the new anti-bullying programs have a winning chance, and now even more with the support of ABC’s “Secret Millionaire”
As the national spokesperson for NVEEE, Jaclyn participates in their National PSA campaigns and has dedicated much of her time lately creating a girl-to-girl anti-bullying campaign for NVEEE in order to develop further prevention strategies and strong development campaigns with schools and the community. An award-winning children’s book author, Jaclyn shares her early struggles with bullying in her first children’s book, Wacky Jacky: The True Story of An Unlikely Beauty Queen. In this book her goal is to teach teens and children to take pride in who they are and where they come from, no matter who or what says otherwise.
“I proudly support my wife and NVEEE as they have been such an influential organization for children of all ages,” says husband Scott Stapp. “Bullying is a real issue and my family has been effected by it’s gripping arms at various times in our lives.”
At the “Not On My Watch” Red Carpet VIP Reception, NVEEE will welcome entertainers, celebrities, business leaders and elected officials to celebrate the premiere of ABC’s “Secret Millionaire.”
“When I was approached to take part in a documentary about people helping others in the community, I would have never in a million years guessed it was for this amazing show,” said Jowharah Sanders, NVEEE’s Founder and Executive Director. “We are honored, humbled, and thankful to ABC and the Secret Millionaire for their generosity and support,” said Sanders.
