Bluchip Marketing Welcomes Two New Employees

Aug. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- (BOHEMIA, NY) August 1, 2012. BluChip Marketing is proud to announce and welcome Kristin Goat and Jennifer McGuigan to the team. The ladies have joined the marketing team located in Bohemia as Marketing Manager and Promotions and Events Manager, respectively.

Goat, born and raised on Long Island, obtained a B.A. Business from Lynn University in Florida. After graduation, she spent a few years in client relations for a retouching and advertising studio in the fashion industry in New York City. As Marketing Manager, Goat will work closely with all clients. As Marketing Manager, Goat will be responsible for managing the design, maintenance, and control of external promotional materials around the client’s services as well as create project timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Her main focuses will keep clients up to date with recent developments and be a liaison between them and the team.  

McGuigan choose a different route than schooling to prepare her for her new positions. Born in queens, but grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma, McGuigan was constantly surrounded by local talent. As a young musician, McGuigan began assisting in promotions such a merchandise, mailing lists, and to sell recordings. Eventually, McGuigan took on co-managing tours for larger acts in the Midwest. Eventually her work caught the eye of record labels and that’s where McGuigan learned about marketing. As Promotional and Events Manger, McGuigan will combine advertising with promotions to secure future sales and attendance to events for clients. Typical promotions include giveaways, contests, samples, coupons, discounts and reward programs. McGuigan will be expected to use a variety of media to advertise the promotional messages. Campaigns can use direct mail, radio ads, television spots, newspaper circulars, Internet ads, social media, websites and special events.

Karin Caro, CEO of BluChip Marketing, decided to add to the BluChip team because of the company’s ever-growing client list. “I feel the girls joining the team adds an element of expertise and energy to BluChip.  I am so proud that we are expanding at the rate we are and that we are really doing amazing things for charities, our clients and the community.  We couldn't do this without a great team!” In the past months, the company has brought on an array of new clients including a real estate firm, two major hotels, a nursing home, a life coach, and a laser hair removal specialist.
