Everyone knows that social media sites have hundreds of millions of followers, and each one of their followers is connected to their own group of friends, and so on, so obviously there is a huge market out there to be tapped, but just how to go about it is often not so clear.
We have found that often the best way to make a powerful impact with your marketing is to employ a creative combination of tools - social media, video, and blogging.
Video is such a powerful tool. Done right, it leaves an immediate and powerful impression, much more powerful than photos or written descriptions. Video is one of the waves of the future. It's often astounding how many websites fail to employ video, which they could easily do, to help visitors stick around longer on their site.
Video can be used to capture a welcoming introduction from the company President; to show details of operations; to keep up to date with clients and customers; to introduce new products. The list is endless.
Blogging is another avenue that businesses should use more often. Done right, blogs can help to gain new customers. Each blog that goes out is like another mini-website. It has its own titles, keywords, and subject that gets cached on the internet, thus presenting another opportunity to catch people who are searching for the things you are writing about, and then drawing them to your main website.
Video and blogging should be used in combination with social media to get the most impact. Upload your videos to YouTube, and then embed them in your blogs, and spread them out through your social media channels.
There are an almost infinite numbers of ways you can use these tools to get yourself out to the world in ways you never imagined before. It is a wide-open field for promotion and creativity.
