Leading the company in this charge is newly appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mitch Mahoney. The company officially promoted Mahoney to Vice President of Sales and Marketing in May after previously serving as Director of National Sales, Regional Sales Manager and Senior Territory Manager. Prior to Birkenstock Mahoney held positions with Joseph Seibel Group, ECCO USA and Miller Brands.
"I'm excited to have the opportunity to lead the company forward by focusing on our relationships, values and products," states Mahoney, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "This has been a fantastic year for us and we're looking forward to similar results for 2013."
Fueling the growth are key initiatives of expanded distribution into Running Specialty and Outdoor markets along with on target product development. The company continues to invest in its national advertising and sponsorship commitments.
