Signature products including Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser featured on “Kids Spaces of Hope – A Labor of Love Makeover” series

(Pompano Beach, FL – August 3, 2012) “Designing Spaces” on Lifetime television features P&G Professional™ , the away-from-home division of Procter & Gamble, as a partner of the “Kids Spaces of Hope – A Labor of Love Makeover” at the Kids in Distress campus. The second episode will air on Thursday, August 9th at 7:30 am (ET/PT).

During the episode, P&G Professional™ helps to transform the Kids in Distress childrens’ activity center into a cleaner environment.  P&G special guests Nicole Hazelip and Priscilla Brooks are on hand to give tips and advice on how to best clean surfaces, and demonstrate how the cleaning crew can both clean and disinfect in a single step, saving time and reducing the number of products needed.

Mr. Clean® Magic Erasers, Spic and Span® 3-in-1 All Purpose Spray and Glass Cleaner and Comet® Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner are P&G Professional’s featured products during the series.

P&G Professional™ is a project sponsor of the “Kids Spaces of Hope – A Labor of Love Makeover” show airing on Lifetime TV, where a children’s activity center is completely made over at Kids in Distress, a nationally accredited agency working for the prevention of child abuse, preservation of the family, and care and treatment of abused and neglected children. The goal was to create a beautifully designed, clean, warm and educational environment for the children.

“It makes us so happy that we can help create a clean environment for these children, as well as help the wonderful staff by simplifying cleaning routines,” says Hazelip.

“We are thrilled that P&G Professional has joined “Designing Spaces” as a sponsor for this special makeover project.  It’s great to know their products are contributing to a clean environment for these children to learn and play in,” says Lysa Liemer, Executive VP of Programming and COO, “Designing Spaces”.
