STA Travel Selects Coralie Tripier and Katherine “Alex” Beaven as the 2012 Photography Interns

Aug. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- STA Travel, the youth travel expert enabling students and young adults to explore the world – announced today that Coralie Tripier and Katherine Alex Beaven will travel the U.S. for two weeks on STA Travel’s dime as the 2012 Photography Interns.

From East Coast to West Coast, the pair will spend two weeks documenting their journey via photographs of the places they will visit. The interns will supply STA Travel with their own original collection of astonishing travel photos to appear in a number of places, from web to brochures distributed throughout STA Travel stores across the globe.

About Coralie Tripier

A lover of languages and the road less traveled, Coralie Tripier has been a globe-trotter and polyglot from an early age. Born and raised in the South of France, she has lived in Canada as a student and Russia as a French lecturer, where she took the opportunity to backpack across both countries, walking on bear trails and facing the Siberian winter while juggling between five languages. The 20-year-old is now interning as a journalist at the United Nations headquarters in New York, and hopes to pursue a career as a multimedia reporter combining her love of languages and photography.

About Katherine “Alex” Beaven

Whether it is swimming across the top of Victoria Falls in Zambia, singing about bananas in Italy or stuffing her face full of crispy insects on Bangkok's Khaosan Road, Katherine Alex Beaven has always found unique ways to occupy her time while traveling. She has been to all 50 states, visited nearly 40 countries, and lived on four continents. When she is not documenting her adventures on paper or through a lens, she can be found in New York City planning events and working on a children's book.

The Itinerary

The Photography Interns start their journey in New York City and Los Angeles respectively, and following their perspective itineraries through the east and west coast of the U.S. visiting cities such as Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago, and Miami.
