The Snell Group is pleased to announce the launch of two new blogs on the popular online Snell Community platform that currently houses both the IRTalk and Motor Talk discussion forums. “Think Thermally” and “As the Rotor Turns”, will cover both infrared and electric motor testing respectively and continues The Snell Group’s mission to provide world-class knowledge to thermographers and electric motor testing technicians.
Featuring insight, commentary and perspectives from The Snell Group’s staff of instructors and consultants, the blogs will also have comment capabilities so that readers may ask the author a question or start a discussion about the post. The two inaugural blogs, “Infrared and The Last Decade.” and “Motors 101: How Do They Work and What Does EMT Tell Me?” can both be viewed by visiting The Snell Community and navigating to either IRTalk or MotorTalk and selecting the ‘Blogs’ tab. Entries will be updated weekly each Tuesday.
While the existing IRTalk and MotorTalk forums within The Snell Community help professionals connect through message boards, there was a larger need for blogs to disseminate timely, useful information to infrared and electric motor testing professionals The Snell Group’s President and CEO, Jim Fritz said.
“We heard from our customers that they really wanted a Snell Group blog that was dedicated to discussing both infrared and electric motor testing every week,” said Fritz. “We hope to bring interesting, valuable content to our readers with these posts, encouraging questions and reader engagement that foster a lively discussion surrounding the two technologies.”
“I think this will be a great opportunity for both Snell graduates and prospective students to learn about infrared and electric motor testing from our experienced staff. We’re excited about this new feature within The Snell Community,” Fritz said.
