Fike Introduces ECARO-25plus Program

Aug. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Blue Springs, MO - Fike is pleased to announce the launch of its ECARO-25plus program.  As another element within Fike’s sustainability initiative, ECARO-25plus is designed to more than neutralize any carbon footprint of its premier fire protection product, ECARO-25.

“Fike has led the way in bringing quality, effective fire suppression solutions to the market,” explained Brad Stilwell, Director, Facilities Protection - Mechanical Products.  “ECARO-25 is already the best performing product relative to cost, agent hold time, room pressure, flow capability and agent vaporization. And with the launch of this new program, ECARO-25 will account for a negative net carbon footprint as well.”

In partnership with American Forests Global ReLeaf forest restoration program, effective August 1, 2012, Fike will begin investing a portion of all ECARO-25 sales in programs which absorb CO2 emissions.  In addition, any time an ECARO-25 system is activated, the impact of the discharge will be neutralized through the ECARO-25plus program.
