The Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center is known for its outstanding curriculum and this year is no exception. “This coming year presents itself with exciting opportunities for our MAR-JCC, we remain most fortunate for the support that we receive from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and the United Way of Miami-Dade County that is critical to our overall operation and ability to service our community” mentioned Gary Bomzer, Executive Director.
Additional new classes such as private piano and guitar lessons, Glee Vocal Group, Middle School Boot Camp, and a new aquatics program have been added to the Enrichment curriculum to provide a wider array of choices for children from infants to teens, and Senior Adult Programming will continue to flourish with more activities, classes, and exciting cultural field trips.
“Our Health and Fitness Center has transitioned into a state of the art place of wellness for our center, as well as for our community, with new, cutting edge equipment, more group exercise classes than ever before, personal training, workshops, and demonstrations,”
Another convenience for parents and kids alike will be the Post Camp Mini-Camp. August 13-17, the period between the end of the MAR-JCC’s Camp Sol Taplin, and the beginning of the new school year the MAR-JCC will offer continued fun for kids with mini-camps including swimming, field trip, tennis, robotics, fitness, and soccer.
