A Lt. Governor Carter Says "Conservative" Played Out; Meaningless Word

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 1, 2012 - ST. LOUIS, Mo. --  Lt. Gubernatorial candidate Mike Carter is sending a robo call today at 12:30 p.m. Central that, in essence, says (click for call sample):


"The word 'conservative' has become meaningless just like its supposed counterpart 'liberal'. I am in disbelief at the over-use of the meaningless words.  No one means them, understands them or wants anyone to ask him/her what in the heck a candidate means by using the meaningless words.  It's like saying the phrase 'by and large;' sure, people sort of know what you mean but have no idea what the words really mean -- I think 'by and large' was some sailor terminology about boats passing through rough water."


Carter points out that Missouri's independent-style voters do not want to hear "liberal" and "conservative" garbage talk.  That's why he is campaigning on a pledge to treat the Missouri Lt. Governor's office like the part-time position it is and tell the voters the office has no meaningful power whatsoever.




Carter will be robo calling Missouri voters at 12:30 p.m. Central 8-1-2012. He has removed some 10,000 Voters from his multi-million call campaign AND future call recipients can opt out of the calls at http://www.MikeCarter.com.


Carter is an independent-minded Republican that values prohibiting government intrusion into citizens' privacy above nearly all else. He has voted for Ron Paul and Ross Perot twice.
