“We are happy to get this position filled,” says Kenny Roberts, Civic Center Director. “We took our time to find just the right person and we feel like Amye has the experience and dedication necessary to do a great job for the Civic Center and for the City of Statesville.
Henderson’s background is in Marketing and Media production and coordination. A graduate of Western Carolina University, Henderson ran her own video production business, VideoPro, for a decade in the Statesville area. Her most recent position was with an international apparel company in Hickory, NC spearheading their marketing and branding efforts.
“I am so excited to be back in Statesville marketing the Civic Center,” says Henderson. "Statesville is my hometown and I love it. I believe in our beautiful city and it is a privilege and an honor to spend my time telling people about the wonderful community benefit that is the Statesville Civic Center.”
The Statesville Civic Center is a multi-purpose meeting and banquet facility located in historic downtown Statesville. The facility features eight versatile and adaptable rooms with the ability to create a 12,000 square foot great hall. With the flexibility of the rooms, the civic center can accommodate just about any event including trade shows, corporate meetings, weddings, parties, reunions and conferences.
