The Cristo Rey Network is being recognized for transforming the education landscape for urban, low-income youth. With rigorous academics in the classroom, coupled with the unique work study experience outside the classroom, Cristo Rey graduates master skills, complete high school, and pursue higher education at rates far exceeding their peers.

Each of the 64 Regional Winners receives one (1) round-trip flight to San Diego to participate in the CLASSY Awards Weekend, courtesy of Southwest Airlines, the official Airline Sponsor of the 4th Annual CLASSY Awards. The 16 National Winners will be featured in a Charity Auction on eBay Giving Works, appear for one (1) week in the eBay Giving Works’ Give @ Checkout section, receive digital marketing audits from eBoost Consulting, and a one year free subscription to StayClassy fundraising solutions.

The Cristo Rey Network is comprised of 25 high schools that provide a quality, Catholic, college preparatory education to 7,400 urban young people who live in communities with limited educational options. Most of our students qualify for the federal free or reduced lunch program. Member schools utilize a rigorous academic model, supported with effective instruction, to prepare students with a broad range of academic abilities for college. Cristo Rey Network schools employ an innovative Corporate Work Study Program that provides students with real world work experiences.
