About the Band
Event Horizon is the brain child of Zak Hanan, lead guitar, and Marty Hanan, drums. Zak is either one-third the age of Marty, or dad is three times older than son, whichever you prefer. But don’t let age fool you... While barely 18, Zak can even cover the legends Hendrix, Slash, and many others.
Band members include 2 CEOs, an IT executive, an executive coach and an engineering student. Other than Zak (too young to have a resume), all have been in numerous rock bands over the decades and some of the most successful bands in DFW.
As varied as the members, is the set list, which includes Hendrix, Zeppelin, Boston, Deep Purple, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns n’ Roses, and more.
Also unique to Event Horizon is the business model: Event Horizon plays only for free for charitable causes whether at benefit concerts, community festivals, corporate gatherings or charitable events and parties. Event Horizon will play at select non-charitable events only when the performance fee is donated to approved charities.
ValueScope is the area’s premier financial valuation and business advisory firm and is active in supporting charitable causes.
