OB-GYN is First in Area to be Certified by the AIMIS

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 1, 2012 - DAYTONA BEACH – Dr. Cecille Tapia-Santiago, a local Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Medical Director for the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center BirthCare Center, is the first physician in Volusia and Flagler counties to be certified by the American Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery (AIMIS).

As the nation’s pre-eminent educator of advanced surgical techniques for women’s health specialists, AIMIS teaches and supports minimally invasive gynecological and urogynecological surgical methods to improve patient outcomes through advanced surgical techniques.

By obtaining this additional certification by AIMIS, Dr. Tapia-Santiago illustrates her dedication to raise the standard of health care for women.
