“We respect the work done by the talented, dedicated, and infinitely patient maintenance professionals who keep our industry’s apartment communities running every day,” said Kara Rice, Grace Hill’s Chief Information Officer. “Together with our clients and property management companies across the country, we are dedicating the month of August as a time for showing our appreciation to these multifamily professionals and recognizing outstanding achievements.”
“Maintenance Rocks” is the theme of the month-long appreciation period that begins August 1st and runs through August 31st, 2012 and reoccurs each year. Throughout the month Grace Hill will provide free access to online maintenance training, host online learning events and activities, share free content downloads and various ways for clients to show appreciation to their maintenance teams for their dedication to the residents and multifamily communities they serve.
The company will also publicly recognize twenty-three outstanding maintenance associates from apartment communities across the country, one each business day in August on Grace Hill’s website www.gracehill.com. Having been nominated by their colleagues for outstanding achievements and excellence in the field of maintenance, these “Maintenance Rock Stars” were chosen by Grace Hill from hundreds of entries received during the nomination period that surveyed thousands of multifamily housing professionals nationwide.
The maintenance survey conducted by Grace Hill also found that 76% of respondents indicated they have no dedicated recognition for their maintenance teams and 80% have no dedicated maintenance trainers.
