FP Executive Agency secure National Franking Machine Agreement for the APUC

Advanced procurement for universities and colleges (APUC) has awarded FP Executive Agency (FPEA) Ltd the national franking machine framework agreement allowing the supply of products and services into this area.

Aug. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- In simple terms, this will allow public sector bodies to purchase franking machines with the knowledge that FP Executive Agency has attained accreditation through being part of the framework agreement and has reached the criteria set out by the APUC for pricing, maintenance & service, consumables and other key support areas.
The framework agreement covers the supply of franking machines to almost all Universities in the UK, all Scottish further education colleges, The Scottish Government and almost all Scottish government or public sector organisations.  All the University purchasing consortia are party to this agreement, with the exception of the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) who are not party to the agreement.
Andrew Parmenter, Marketing Manager for FPEA/The Mailing Room commented; ‘We are pleased to once again achieve recognition for being a key supplier to the public sector by being part of the National APUC framework agreement. Over the coming years, the agreement will allow us to supply a range of products and services into this area, whilst providing a high level of support that is required within these organisations.’
The FP Executive Agency (part of TheMailingRoom.com) is one of the principal suppliers of mailroom products and services into the public sector. In addition to the traditional mailroom products such as postal franking systems, it provides additional value added services such as advice on mail optimisation and consolidation, as well as supplying stationary, consumables and asset finance.
Launched in 1998 to focus on the needs of the Public Sector, FPEA recognised a requirement to obtain ‘best value’ and to build long term mutually beneficial relationships with its suppliers to simplify the procurement process. By delivering a ‘one stop shop’ for the UK’s public sector, FPEA are able to offer a single source of mailing room supplies,  including an exclusive supply agreement for FP franking machines.
