Atgooth Foundation and LeTort Trust Sponsor Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week

Aug. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Camp Hill, Pa. – Atgooth Foundation, the charitable giving foundation formed by LeTort Trust, is proud to announce its sponsorship and support to the 34th Annual Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW) at Lycoming College and Pennsylvania College of Technology. Atgooth Foundation provided the organization with a President’s Club level sponsorship to fund scholarships for students in the Pennsylvania area.

For four individual, week-long sessions, Lycoming College and PA College of Technology welcomed students, volunteers and guests to their respective campus locations as they hosted the 34th Annual Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week program.
Rising high school juniors and seniors from across Pennsylvania traveled to the program, which educates students about the American free enterprise system by bringing them together with business executives from throughout the state.

During the week-long event, student teams simulated the operation of their own company. The sponsorship support offered by Atgooth Foundation provided the funds for nineteen students to attend PFEW.

"PFEW is a fantastic program and we are excited to support it,” said Dan Eichelberger, President of Atgooth Foundation. “One of our primary areas of focus at Atgooth Foundation is to further initiatives that support the educational needs of youth interested in business, finance and entrepreneurship. The programs offered by PFEW are strategically aligned with the interests and intentions of our charitable foundation” stated Dan.

Both colleges and the students benefit from the event, as students gain first-hand experience living on the college campus. Each year, many PFEW alumni enter Lycoming College or Pennsylvania College of Technology as new students and receive scholarships from the colleges, just for embarking on the PFEW experience.
