By: The National Skills Academy for Food and Drink With a European headquarters in Harpenden and offices in Chicago, Shanghai and Singapore, Total Flow operates teams throughout EMEA, South East Asia and the Americas. The company has most recently partnered Danone Baby Nutrition, Danone Water and Nutricia Medical Nutrition to develop the Danone Management Way – a bespoke system to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment performance (SQDCME) and maintain operational control – and to deploy it simultaneously across their global footprint. Holding recognised expertise in enterprise level Lean thinking and transformational change, Total Flow has joined the Academy’s select group of Food Manufacturing Excellence training and consultancy providers. “As the premium vehicle for enabling the development of UK Food Manufacturing Excellence, membership of the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink seemed a natural shop window to subject our thinking to peer review and share our capability to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery performance with both fellow Academy providers and Academy clients,” said Total Flow Group Managing director Chris Ellins. “UK food and drink has an unlimited capability and capacity to develop and supply branded products to UK, European and global markets yet most food plants still underperform, overspend and fail to leverage the potential of their employees. “We have proved we can help - we have a track record to demonstrate and advocates willing to tell their story.” Welcoming Total Flow into the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink, Executive Director Justine Fosh said the Academy was now offering a clear pathway to food and drink businesses seeking step change in performance and culture. “The Academy continues to be held in high regard by client businesses because of the deep industry understanding and expertise of our training and consultancy providers,” she said. “The quality and breadth of skills and knowledge support now available to food manufacturing firms has the capability to help businesses truly raise their game and meet current marketplace, productivity and cost challenges head on.” End
