It pays to be a tax payer: Radio Mantra is back with 'Double Hafta Vasool'

Aug. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- This year Mantra will reward those who file their Income Tax Return (ITR) on time, by giving away their own two week's salary in cash. Double Hafta Vasool 'DHV' is an interesting concept where the participants have to answer four simple questions to take home the double of their one week's salary. The contest has already received an overwhelming response from the listeners across Mantra network as more than 8,000 listeners have already registered for the contest via SMS & IVR.

Commenting on the concept behind 'DHV', National Programming Head, Kanwar Sameer said, “You get what you deserve!!! What's better than winning half a month's salary, especially when you're filing or have just filed your ITR. Double Hafta Vasool (DHV) is Radio Mantra's way saying 'Thank You' to  our listeners who contribute toward's this country's development and well being by paying taxes.”

Apart from the fun and money, the contest has a social angle to it: Promoting, filing of 'Income Tax Return'. 'DHV' is gesture of appreciation and encouragement to those who believe in the system. As a responsible corporate citizen, Radio Mantra, took upon this opportunity to spread awareness about the benefits of filing income tax returns. The station is also airing 'Tax-O-Mania', a segment which talks about all the information regarding filing the Income Tax. The contest was rolled out on 30th of July and will be open to participation till 4th of August.  The contest will be played in the evening drive time show Route no. 919.
