As the editing world expands it’s becoming increasingly important for editors to know more than one NLE system. The problem is, every system works differently and many editors have become frustrated at having to figure out completely different editing languages. That’s why Moviola is hosting a free, live webinar at 10:00 AM PST on Thursday, August 2nd to help FCP editors move easily between both Final Cut and the Avid editing platforms. Topics covered will include ingesting and organizing footage, applying and modifying effects, as well as building and trimming sequences, among others. This webinar is a must attend for any editors looking to work on two of the major editing systems.
Presenter Stephen Kanter is an Avid and Apple Certified editor and Master Trainer who has cut features, documentaries and television on both Avid and Final Cut systems for nearly 20 years. As a Final Cut Studio Master Trainer, he helped develop the Apple certified curriculum as a Technical Editor and contributing writer for the Apple Pro Training Series, including Final Cut Pro for Avid Editors, Advanced Editing and Finishing Techniques in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Soundtrack Pro.
