Fashion designer Viviana G unveiled ‘ Spring 2013 Collection' honoring 'Top Real Women in Fashion'

July 31, 2012 - PRLog -- MIAMI, FL-  Fashion Designer, Viviana Gabeiras also known as Viviana G and winner of ‘Best Prêt-à-Porter Style Award’ at MBIFW unveiled her ‘Petit Pois Spring 2013 Collection’ at the chic Saint Tropez- style Villa Azur Restaurant & Lounge in South Beach, Florida on July 25th, 2012.

The exclusive “All White” event, by invitation only, featured still-life modeling showcasing a collection inspired by Native American and Gypsy cultures which are best known for their freedom, colorful lifestyle, and adaptive living. Viviana G showcased a unique, spiritual, and passion-driven collection, bringing to life iconic styles of women such as Stevie Knicks, Marissa Berenson, and Ali Macgraw.

The headliner of the night was the ceremony by ‘Miami Fashion Spotlight’ (The Fashion Blog) and Petit Pois by Viviana G, honoring 13 women as “Top Real Women in Fashion.”  These “real women” were chosen for their fashionable lifestyles and also for their support and contributions in their community.

The tribute also included a special editorial “Top Real Women in Fashion” about all of the honorees that was published online at Miami Fashion Spotlight and Miami Celebrity Fashion Examiner hours prior to the event as a preview.

Among the ‘Top Real Women in Fashion 2012’ were: Silvana Camargo (TV Host), Natalia Cruz (Journalist), Adriana de Moura (Reality Star and Art Dealer), Athina Klioumi de Marturet (Model & Actress), Linda Ebersberger (Interior Designer), Jennifer Heegaard (President of JEJE Consulting), Diana Laura (Model & Actress), Jeannette Lehr (Actress), Debi Pittman Wilkey (Photojournalist), Lisa Pliner(Iconic Shoe Designer), Kimberly Shenker-Bacardi (Philanthropist), Beth Sobol (Founder & President of MBIFW)  and Alison Thompson (Ambassador of Haiti).

The event was an evening full of well-respected personalities along with many renowned people of the fashion industry such as: Miami’s top designers, Samy Gicherman and Julian Chang; ‘Emerging jewelry designer of the year 2011’ at MBIFW, Maria Hamilton; renowned jewelry designer, Lorena Prado; Baroness Anka Birgu; Miss Coral Gables USA, Jackie Garcia-Casals; Miami’s Top Model, Maytee Martinez; Owner of Boca Tanning Club Brickell, Zurami Pascual; actress Robin Lynn and Actor/ Producer Vincent De Paul, among others.

The still-life modeling was hosted by Pristine Models Agency with styling and make-up by celebrity stylist Leonardo Rocco, in addition to the latest in shoes by Iconic footwear designer, Lisa Pliner and beauty line by GP Natural Cosmetics.

The charming evening closed to an inspiring toast with 24 Karat gold flakes champagne, by PRP Wines and an amazing cake by celebrity chef, Jackie Salas.

Viviana Gabeiras continues to design and manufacture her premium luxury knit brand locally in Miami, fighting to keep “Made in the USA” for the past 12 years. As a student, she won “Honorable Mention” from the Rayon Council during the New York Fashion design Competition.

After launching one of the first mesh lines in the USA under the name “Sweet Pea,” Viviana decided to gain her independence in 2000 and created “Petit Pois by Viviana G.” In 2007, Viviana G won the CILA award for “Best Coordinate Moderate” in New York City and her success continues today.
