Everything from glamorous events to woo Brazilians to buy luxury condos to special shopping tours and cultural activities have been timed for July, the height of the Brazilian social season. Even Miami International Airport is unveiling Sem Fronteiras/Without Borders, its new Brazilian art exhibit, on Wednesday, and Vogue Brasil plans to bring out a special 66-page Miami issue at the end of the month. “The Brazilians are coming in herds,’’ said Paulo Bacchi, co-owner of Artefacto, a high-end Brazilian furniture maker with two South Florida stores. He postponed both a designer showcase at his Coral Gables store and the champagne launch party for his new location in Aventura until this month to take full advantage of the Brazilian influx. “July is officially vacation-in- August, 2nd, 2012, Islamorada, Florida Keys. When asked to explain, Jan remarked, Anytime Miami expands business wise and then sells more housing as is happening, it definitely helps the Keys Real Estate market. .When asked how this could possibly affect the Keys Real Estate market, Jan remarked, based on history, over 50% of Keys visitors come from South Florida. So more visitors in Miami means more visitors to the Keys. After all we are only an hour away and offer a totally different experience and lifestyle. In addition more visitors to the Keys, means more Vacation homes and Retirement homes will get bought. So, whenever we see boosts in tourism like this, it always directly affects our Real Estate Business.
