“Since our initial walk in September, 2001, the Boston Jimmy Fund walkathon allows participants to follow the course of the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon to honor friends, family, co-workers and patients facing all forms of cancer,” said Joseph Federico from team NJ MET’s engineering headquarters, located in Clifton, NJ.
Walkers can choose from one of four route options designed for everyone from marathon enthusiasts to the youngest walker. There is also a virtual walker option for those who can’t make it to the event.

This annual project is one of several charitable efforts undertaken by NJ MET. NJ MET also provides scholarships and engages in other charitable efforts in the northern New Jersey area and around the world through work with the American Red Cross. Joseph Federico supervises these efforts.
