Keys hotel occupancy rates increasing.

July 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Hoteliers throughout South Florida reported a strong May, according to a recent report.

The report from Smith Travel Research shows that hotel occupancy, rates and revenue in Monroe, Miami-Dade and Broward counties increased compared to May of 2011.

Monroe (the Florida Keys) saw a 4.4 percent jump in occupancy to 78.6 percent, with room rates increasing almost 5 percent to $200.54. Revenue per available room jumped 9.4 percent to $157.62.
