D2G Apparel Launches The Runway: Limited Edition Illustrated Apparel Featuring Fashion Illustrations

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 30, 2012 - Salt Lake City, Utah - 07-30-2012  This morning D2G Apparel debuted their online platform designed to showcase emerging fashion illustrators from around the world.   “The Runway” presents limited edition collections of printed apparel featuring fashion illustrations developed around a specific theme. Produced exclusively by D2G Apparel, fashion illustrations from their premier collection drew inspiration from looks and trends seen during this months Haute Couture Fashion week.

“We worked with emerging artists each with their own interpretation of the looks, trends and styles displayed on the Parisian runways earlier this month,” stated Emiah C. Gardner, founder of D2G Apparel.  “Our goal is to provide a platform for the waning art of fashion illustration through projects that combine the worlds of fashion and illustration.”  The Runway prints all of their illustrations on high quality apparel pieces, each with a soft hand and flattering, trend driven fit.  Emiah says that she is excited to see how fashion bloggers will react to this collection and how they will style pieces from this collection.

For over a year now, D2G Apparel’s blog has featured the works of both aspiring and established fashion illustrators, sharing interviews with the artists, their backgrounds and overall inspirations.  The Runway gives aspiring fashion illustrators a voice in the niche market of fashion illustration while providing limited edition pieces to trendsetters who truly want something unique in their wardrobe.
