Art People Gallery Invites you to its 11th Anniversary Celebration Thursday, August 23rd, 2012

July 30, 2012 - PRLog -- On Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 Art People Gallery, a premier destination among San Francisco art galleries, will celebrate its 11th anniversary. The evening will feature singer Shannon Bryant. Quintessential Wines and Leonidas Chocolates will sponsor the celebration with a wine-tasting event and world-class chocolate delicacies.

Founded by artist Meamar in January 2001, Art People Gallery is one of San Francisco’s top contemporary art galleries. Art People features an eclectic and ever-changing selection of contemporary works by Bay Area and international artists. Artists are carefully selected for their skill and mastery in their respective mediums, their training and professional credentials.

Meamar’s goal has always been to make both the art and the artists more accessible to the public: “I feel that art is supposed to be enigmatic and intriguing but there is no reason why it should be incomprehensible, intimidating or inaccessible. An interaction with a piece of art is not merely a visual experience, it can be an adventure into the mind of the artist, her philosophy and culture; it affords viewers an opportunity to explore their own reactions and imagination.”

A firm believer in direct interaction between the artists and the public, Meamar encourages Art People artists to spend time in the gallery, talk about their art, and share their feelings and inspiration with the public. ART PEOPLE GALLERY PROGRAMS

1. SNAC Expo
The Social Network Art Competition, or SNAC Expo, is an annual competition for artists without borders created by Art People Gallery to help emerging artists acquire worldwide exposure by means of online social networking platforms. The pilot edition of SNAC Expo, SNAC Iran, was launched in 2011 and met with a resounding success. The winning artists were offered the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in art galleries in Iran and in the United States. In January 2012, their artwork began its world tour, starting in Tehran, and moving on to Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Art People Gallery is now expanding its SNAC Expo competition to include other countries.

2. Art Placement
Art People Gallery offers an art placement service for most of the artwork carried by the gallery, to clients and locations within the San Francisco Bay Area. People interested in potentially purchasing a piece are offered the opportunity to live with the artwork first, to make sure the piece is right for them and for their environment. This program also offers corporations and individuals a way to enhance their work space or their home.

3. Event hosting Services
Conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District, and right off the Montgomery BART station, Art People Gallery hosts evening receptions, corporate gatherings or birthday parties.
4. Interior Designers’ Program
