Popular foodie event coming to TradeCenter 128

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 30, 2012 - WOBURN, Mass., July 30, 2012 – Food lovers from around greater Boston will gather at TradeCenter 128 in Woburn on Wednesday, August 8 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for Mass Innovation Nights’ annual foodie event. Hosted by Cummings Properties, the popular networking event is expected to draw more than 200 people from the culinary, entrepreneurial, and social media communities.

Bobbie Carlton, founder of Mass Innovation Nights, said, “We are thrilled to bring Mass Inno to Woburn for the second time, and encourage people who live or work in the area to attend. It’s going to be a fun evening with some exciting and delicious new products to see and try.”

Free and open to the public, Mass Inno will feature 14 of the latest food- and beverage-related innovations from local companies. Attendees will taste Ipswich-made wine, learn about mobile grocery vehicles, check out the newest cupcake truck to hit the streets, and sample sweet and savory snacks.

Woburn’s Bittersweet Boston will be on hand to introduce its line of gluten-free baked goods. Other products to be tasted or demonstrated include artisan preserves, an eco-friendly BBQ starter, locally blended teas and beer, and food-related technology.

In addition, an “experts” area will feature some impressive local foodies, including the co-owner of Bosco Chocolate Syrup, restaurant and events blogger Johnny Monsarrat, foodie entrepreneur David Goldstein, and the corporate product development chef for Roche Bros.

A social-media-powered event, Mass Inno asks attendees to use their preferred medium to help promote the products on display that evening. The gatherings typically generate hundreds of tweets, Facebook posts, blogs, and videos, all of which spread the word about promising new Boston-area ventures.
