20th Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Clay Shoot, August 25th in Fort Worth, Texas

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 30, 2012 - Men, women and children across the Metroplex are invited to the 20th Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Clay Shoot on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Alpine Shooting Park in Fort Worth. Proceeds from this event benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bigs Outdoors Program, which provides outdoor mentoring activities to the matched and unmatched children in our program who would not typically have the opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors.

Often called “golf with a shotgun” or “a video game for adults,” sporting clays simulate live targets in a natural setting. This event is for straight shooters and novices of all skill levels who enjoy the fast pace of shooting sporting clays.

There are two check-in times for this event. Shooters may register at 7:30 a.m. to begin shooting at 8:00 a.m., or they may register at 9:30 a.m. to begin their competition at 10:00 a.m. An awards ceremony, raffle and auction will immediately follow the shoot. All participants receive breakfast, lunch, beverages, gifts and a chance to win door prizes.
