Double Win for Jumeirah Group at the BRAVES Awards

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 30, 2012 - Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has been presented with two prestigious Brand Video Awards at this year's BRAVES award ceremony in London.

The BRAVES, celebrating the industry's biggest brands making their mark in the digital and video world, took place at a glamorous red carpet event at the Vue Cinema in Central London. The 'night at the movies' themed awards show broadcast the winning entries live on the big screen.

Beating stiff competition from Porsche, Intel, Sony and Lego, Jumeirah Group walked away with Best Adaptation of a TV Ad that recognised excellence in video content distribution, as well as the Grand Prix of the Campaign Braves section for the 'Leave the Ordinary Behind' video.

Consistently voted the world's most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab is one of the most photographed structures in the world. To showcase the unique structure and features of the hotel, Jumeirah Group created a video entitled 'Leave the Ordinary Behind' that shows, in breathtaking detail, a perfectly executed dive from the top of Burj Al Arab into the Arabian Gulf. Originally designed to inspire viewers, drive traffic to www.jumeirah.com and improve strategic keyword rankings on search engines, the film inspired Adam Young, founder of electronic project Owl City, to compose an original score for the video. In its various versions, the video has been viewed over 1 million times.

In line with its ambitious growth plans, Jumeirah Group recently announced the opening of Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai.
