Director Woody Bavota, was born in 1955 with Poland Syndrome. The condition was not named until 1963, Woody found out the name of his malformed left hand and missing pectoral muscle in 2006 and this began his mission to find out more.
Doctor Crystal Baker and Woody recently met when she heard of the Poland Syndrome Documentary being made. Dr. Baker had been completing research of her own for several years and she wanted to combine their knowledge for this impactful film.
The Poland Syndrome documentary is to be the culmination of medical findings, stories of adult’s life long struggles and triumphs, plus the children and parents of children with Poland Syndrome.
