The Lifestyle Empowerment Symposium presents Chuck Brown Day hosted by R&B crooner Christopher Williams and Chuck Brown’s daughter KK. Performances include EU featuring Sugar Bear, The Original Soul Searchers, Suttle Thought, Trouble Funk, Junkyard, Backyard, Ayre Rayde, India Arie, Dwele, Calvin Richardson and other special surprise performances. An annual event that will pay homage to the Godfather of Go Go Chuck Brown, as he paved the way for a great deal of artists in the nation’s capital and beyond. Go Go should be recognized globally and fusing a diverse group of individuals for one event will aid in its national recognition. Chuck Brown Day is dedicated to raise money in honor of the Chuck Brown Foundation and eventually to begin the building process for the Go Go Hall of Fame. This event will generate satisfaction from all generations of Go Go and music lovers.
