ATLANTA, Ga., July 26, 2012    Neffe Pugh inks a publishing deal to tell her story to the world about the ups and downs of being a reality television star. Neffe is set to release her new book titled “The Price I Paid” which is a personal account of her life and struggles after the cameras were turned off. “This book is based on a journal I have written when I was going through my hardships. I talk about moving from hotel to hotel while keeping my life together and being a mother”, said Neffe.

“I want to give readers the real raw uncut truth. You can’t become successful by just being on TV. You have to work after the fact. You still go through stuff not just personally, but financially, emotionally and mentally. If you want to be famous you have to go through it to get to it. This book will show of all of that”, according to Neffe.

Neffe is known for her role on BET’s reality docu-series shows “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is”, and its spin off the “Frankie & Neffe” show. Neffe is the sister of R&B singer Keyshia Cole.

Tionna Smalls decided to sign Neffe to her small press publishing company, Talk Dat Ish Books because “Neffe brings something new to the table. I’ve always loved Neffe’s outspoken nature. She has a lot of depth and I feel she has a story inside of her that she just needs to get out”, said Tionna Smalls. Smalls is an Author, Entrepreneur and reality tv show star of VH1’s “What Chili Wants.”

“The books that Tionna publishes talk about the truth and reach people in a positive way. Tionna is a straight shooter. I love that about her and I am excited to be working with her”, said Neffe.

Neffe’s book “The Price I Paid” is expected to drop this fall in stores across the country. She will also be embarking on a multi-city book tour to promote her book.
