New Manager Named at Watson Realty Corp.

July 27, 2012 - PRLog -- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Watson Realty Corp. is pleased to name Mike Matthews as the new manager of the Westside/Chaffee Road office.  Watson Realty President Ed Forman announced the promotion of Matthews, a sales associate in the Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island office since 2008.

“Mike’s business skills combined with his successful record in sales made him a great choice to lead the Chaffee office,” stated Forman.

Matthews launched his real estate career four years ago after retiring from 15 years of service in law enforcement.  He held positions with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, City of Gainesville Police Department and the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.  The decision to pursue real estate as a career after retirement was influenced by a family history in the real estate business dating back to the 80s.   Matthews leaves a great team at the Watson Realty Fernandina office but looks forward to working with the Chaffee office.

A native of Jacksonville, Matthews and his wife, Amy, have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of two teenage sons.
