“I’m looking forward to this outing as a way to meet some of CSU’s great supporters while raising money for our exceptional student athletes,” said Schumacher. He joined CSU as director of intercollegiate athletics on June 11 of this year. CSU is a NCAA Division I institution with 12 sports that include golf, tennis, cross-country, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and track and field. The university is a member of the Great West Conference.
“Since the inception of the CSU Golf Outing, businesses, corporations and individual donors have come out to support the Foundation’s efforts to raise scholarship dollars for student athletes,” said Katéy Assem, executive director of the Foundation. “As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Title IX, we are excited to continue to assist all of CSU’s student athletes and support Dan’s vision to enhance the University’s quality sports programs”.
Event sponsors include the Law Firm of Quarles & Brady LLP and PNC Bank.
