Home Improvement and Design Expo and Healthy Life Expo

July 26, 2012 - PRLog -- MINNEAPOLIS, MINN—The Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Ave. S., will be a lively place the weekend of Oct. 20-21. MediaMax Events is staging its Home Improvement and Design Expo and its Healthy Life Expo on the same days from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Rick Martinek, principal, MediaMax Events, said he expects a lot of “cross-pollination” between the shows. A single $6 adult admission is good for entrance to both Expos. (Children up to age 17 may enter the Home Improvement Expo free if accompanied by an adult. Attendees can enter the Healthy Life Expo free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.)

The Home Improvement Expo will feature more than 200 exhibitors in the areas of home improvement, home remodeling, DIY, landscaping, lawn care, gardening, and more! One of the highlights of the two-day expo will be the launching of 1500 ESPN-Radio’s “Man Show.” This new concept is like an expo with-in an expo and will feature big toys for big boys all the cool things that men are into, atv’s, boats, trucks, and their sports. The Home Improvement & Design Expo will also have a juried Art Show (H.E. Art Emporium) featuring more than 50 local artists who will have their art for sale, as well as seminars on how to choose the right art for your home.

The Healthy Life Expo will feature 200 exhibitors in the areas of men and women’s health, fitness, wellness, eco-products, nutrition, and more. The show offers free health screenings and give-aways. Speakers on three different stages will discuss topics such as wellness, acupuncture, feng shui, herbs, natural cooking, massage, pilates, healing, yoga, meditation, family, nutrition, fitness, and longevity. Attendees will be able to meet personal trainers and coaches, fitness professionals, wellness experts and massage therapists. Headliner entertainment will be provided by the “Kinetic King,” who will “detonate” a “Clever Lever Gadget” late Sat. afternoon.
