Gretta Terrentine Named Executive Director of The Greg Jennings Foundation

July 26, 2012 - PRLog -- The Greg Jennings Foundation announced today that Gretta Terrentine has been named as their Executive Director. Terrentine will take over all operations and programming for the foundation and carry out the vision of Greg and Nicole Jennings in assisting and empowering young people throughout the Midwest.

Gretta comes to the Greg Jennings Foundation from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation where she was Community Investment Manager, Grants Evaluation.  Terrentine’s talents center on expanding nonprofits’ positive impact through strengthening operations and excellence in programming.  She has a wealth of experience in nonprofit administration and philanthropy and brings her intellect and integrity to help grow the work of empowering and educating young people.  

“Our Foundation has goals and aspirations to do much more grant making and programming within the community,” Nicole Jennings said.  “We want to be able to assist more young people than ever before in reaching their full academic potential.”

“Gretta has a clear understanding of our personal vision for the Foundation,” added Greg Jennings. “She has the talent and the skill-set to get the job done, and to get it done well. We are excited about her coming on board, and look forward to the future with Gretta as our Executive Director.”

The Foundation recently had its most successful event ever, raising over $200,000 after moving the Greg Jennings Celebrity Golf outing to Michigan for the first time. The Foundation has planned or will be involved with a number of events both in Wisconsin and Michigan in the coming year, assisting youth in all areas of life skills.  Both Nicole and Greg are Kalamazoo residents. Greg is a two-time all-pro wide receiver with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.
