Aurora Shooting Prayer Meeting
James Woodley a member of the Aurora church stated, “Our love goes out to all those involved in the Aurora theater shooting and the greater community. Man is inherently good and this meeting will show man’s goodness as all local churches and people come together to help Aurora find healing.”
Woodley continued, “The need for relying on God to defend us against evil turns us increasingly to Him for help. Constant watchfulness and prayer from all evil is our protection and defense.”
“All people of faith are invited to join us in prayer for our community” said Woodley.
About First Church of Christ, Scientist, Aurora
First Church of Christ, Scientist has been a part of Aurora for over 60 years. Sunday services are held at 10:00 am every Sunday morning; Sunday School for children under the age of 20 is held at the same time. The church conducts testimony meetings every Wednesday at 7:30 pm for sharing of healings. The church also provides a free lecture on healing every year. All are welcome. Childcare is always provided.
