Jul. 25, 2012 - Author Harvey Goodman's second novel, Winds of Redemption, has been awarded Honorable Mention, placing 7th overall in the General Fiction category of the 2012 Hollywood Book Festival. Goodman's first novel, Along the Fortune Trail, was the "Runner-Up" in the Genre Category of the 2010 Hollywood Book Festival, and was awarded Honorable Mention, placing 5th overall in Fiction in the Los Angeles Book Festival. Goodman's new novel, Winds of Redemption, is a stand-alone sequel that follows the continuing adventures and exploits of the young cowboy Sammy Winds in 1870's New Mexico Territory. In the latest saga, Sammy Winds and his outfit must battle a ruthless organization of cutthroats who have extensive power and resources, and are bent on taking Winds' land and leaving no witnesses.
