Job Fair in Anaheim to Help Companies Find Qualified Candidates
Anaheim, CA - July 24, 2012 – Despite the tough economy, companies are still looking for qualified individuals to fill demanding positions. In August, the Business Expo Center will house the Anaheim Job Fair. This event will help job seekers network with potential employers and allow recruiters to meet people who may be perfect for open positions.
Hosted by NewDay Career Fairs, the Anaheim Job Fair will take place on Monday, August 6, 2012 between 11:00am and 2:00pm. The fair will be in the large expo hall of the Business Expo Center, a premier meeting and event venue located at 1960 S. Anaheim Way in Anaheim, California.
With up to 700 potential job seekers attending the fair, there will be plenty of qualified candidates to choose from. Companies such as Aflac, the Los Angeles Police Department, New York Life Insurance, Mary Kay, and the U.S. Border Patrol are already signed up to exhibit at the fair in order to take advantage of the large pool of candidates.
The goal of the job fair is to foster face-to-face interaction between recruiters and candidates. The job fair will also provide many benefits to job seekers and event exhibitors. Candidates will be able to seek advice from a resume consultant. NewDay staff will also work with candidates to assess their abilities so that they can be directed to companies with open positions that match their skill sets. The job fair itself will be marketed through a variety of channels, including the Business Expo Center’s reader board, which is visible to 250,000 daily freeway commuters and can generate awareness for the event.
This event is free to the public, but companies interested in exhibiting at the fair must register. The registration fee will cover rental space, Wi-Fi access, and parking in the event venue lot. Recruiters will also receive coffee, water, lunch, and access to a dessert buffet.
Recruiters from any industry are welcome to exhibit at the event.
