Connie Ramos-Williams Selected for 20th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee

July 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Connie Ramos-Williams, CEO of CONRIC PR & Marketing and CONRIC Publishing, has been selected to serve on the 20th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee with The Florida Bar through June 30, 2015. Ramos-Williams is the publisher of the Lee County Bar Association’s monthly magazine, Res Gestae, and the Broward County Bar Association’s new monthly publication, Barrister.

“I am honored by this appointment and will serve with integrity,” said Ramos-Williams. Grievance committees are made up of volunteer members, at least one-third of whom are not lawyers. The grievance committee reviews complaints with much the same purpose as a grand jury. After a case is submitted to them by bar counsel, the committee decides whether there is probable cause to believe a lawyer violated the professional conduct rules imposed by the Supreme Court of Florida and whether discipline against the lawyer appears to be warranted. The 20th Judicial Circuit encompasses Charlotte, Hendry, Glades, Lee and Collier counties.
