July 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Fairfax, Va.- Toyota Motor Company, originally Toyoda Automatic Loom Works Ltd, is proud to announce its total global cumulative vehicle output hit 200 million.

The auto manufacturer marked the achievement in June 2012. Of the 200 million vehicles, 145.21 million were created in Japan, while the other 55.12 million were made overseas.

Starting with the Model G1 truck in August 1935, Toyota is now celebrating their landmark of 200 million. Toyota quickly surpassed their goal and is currently 330,000 vehicles ahead of the 200 million milestone.

After 76 years and 11 months, the Corolla remains the manufacturer’s most produced car with 39.09 million units developed as of the end of June. The compact car was first introduced in 1966 and remains popular with the current model. This 2012 vehicle offers standard Toyota’s Star Safety System, which includes vehicle stability control, traction control, brake assist and more.

Ourisman Fairfax offers the Corolla and many other Toyota models both online and on the showroom floor.  The 2012 Corolla base model starts at $16,130.
